Gate Symposium Reflection #1
So far I have learned that almost everything is an extension to our current state. Also that there many types of prosthetics. Such as hooks, bionics, etc. I also found that some prosthetics actually hurt the user. There is a theory that say that everyday objects like knives, computer, clothes, etc . They are all prosthetics. We have worked fairly easily so far just that there was a bit of confusion on what we had to do. But other than that we are very good partners. There prosthetics as far as the 1400’s starting with braces. Prosthetic aren’t just limbs but it can also be teeth. There is prosthetic a lot of fields in science and biology
Gate Symposium Reflection #2
Since the last time I wrote about my research I found out that there are many forms of nanomedicine. Since that time we have changed our topic to the ethical implications of privacy and nanotechnology. We are doing a survey because we want to know how adults feel about the topic. It has been easy to find information on the topic but, hard to get inspiration and ideas for the board. We need to get people to do the survey and analyze the results of the survey and incorporate it into the board plan. We have been working pretty well I haven't done as much work as Andrew and Jesus but I plan to really help out with the board and the creative piece.
Driving Question
How does the adaptation of nanotechnology cause ethical implications by exploiting personal privacy?
